Los Patios: Medellin, Columbia

Everything you could need and more in one beautiful hostel.

The gorgeous view outside the hostel

All are welcome at Los Patios Hostel in Medellín, Colombia! Nestled in the stylish Manila neighborhood of El Poblado, Medellín is a dynamic city of culture, nightlife, and breathtaking mountain views. Los Patios is an upscale yet down‑to‑earth, full of life, and surprisingly community‑focused hostel.

Los Patios Hostel is one of the most social and comfortable hostels I’ve experienced. It spans two nearby buildings and features coworking rooms, rooftop bars, a pool, and even a small gym. Mornings usually start slowly with coffee or local breakfast (available onsite), and by evening the rooftop terraces come alive with music, events, and travelers connecting under the lights. No matter what you need during your travels, Los Patios (probably) has it!

Staff are warm and multilingual—ready to help plan city tours, day trips to Guatapé, or salsa lessons led at the hostel’s own studio. From the cleanliness of the hostel, service of the staff, and all the amenities that they offer, it is clear to see why Los Patios is so well loved by anyone who stays there.

Wondering if you should stay here? Los Patios fits all kinds of travelers. Solo adventurers loving daily activities—like walking tours, rooftop yoga, dance classes, or open‑mic nights—will feel right at home. There are also quieter corners for freeloaders or coworkers freelancing in their own bubble while still feeling part of things.
